Dr. Nicola Frego graduated in medicine at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in 2017 and pursued his specialization in Urology at the Humanitas Research Hospital in Milan. He spent one year as a research fellow in the Dept. of Urology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston (USA), improving his statistical skills and scientific background. He also successfully completed a fellowship in public health at the Center for Surgery and Public Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Since April 2023, Dr. Frego is a clinical fellow in robotic surgery at OLV Hospital Aalst. His main interests are urological oncology and training methodologies.
At Orsi Academy, Dr. Frego takes on the role of Deputy Medical Director Urology and is responsible for coordinating fellows' activity. Together with the scientific societies & key opinion leaders, he is establishing new training programs, course material and e-learning content for the Orsi network.
