General Conduct

To ensure a safe, professional, and efficient training environment, all visitors, trainers, and participants are required to comply with the following guidelines while on the premises of Orsi Academy.

 

Facility Rules

  • Smoking is prohibited inside the facility. Designated smoking areas and ashtrays are available on the terraces and at the entrance of the building.
  • Respect the infrastructure, equipment, and facilities of Orsi Academy. Training and meeting areas must be left clean and tidy after use.
  • During wet lab sessions, participants must wear the scrubs provided in the changing rooms to protect their personal clothing. Used scrubs and disposable materials must be disposed of in the designated waste containers.
  • Shower facilities are intended solely for personal hygiene purposes.
  • Personal belongings and luggage may not be left in training laboratories or meeting rooms. Lockers, storage facilities, and a cloakroom are available for this purpose.
  • Food and beverages are not permitted in the training laboratories.
  • All materials, devices, and equipment must be used with care and in accordance with the applicable instructions. Participants who are unfamiliar with the operation of specific equipment must consult an Orsi Academy staff member before use.
  • Lead aprons must be handled carefully and returned to the designated hanging racks after use. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.
  • Animal models must be treated with respect at all times. Participants must adhere to all applicable animal welfare requirements and ethical standards. Orsi Academy reserves the right to remove participants from a training activity if their behaviour is deemed inconsistent with these standards.
  • Photography, video recording, and filming during training activities are strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorised by Orsi Academy.
  • Access is limited to the areas authorised for the participant on the relevant training day. Restricted areas include, but are not limited to, service corridors, staff-only areas, and spaces reserved for other clients or activities. Unauthorised access may result in removal from the premises.
  • The use of mobile phones during training activities is prohibited unless specifically permitted by the trainer or Orsi Academy staff.
  • All needles and sharps must be removed from training models after use and disposed of in the designated sharps containers provided by Orsi Academy.

     

Human Cadaver Training Requirements

For activities involving human cadaveric specimens:

  • Trainers and participants must ensure that all procedures performed are accurately documented in the required procedure documentation.
  • Orsi Academy must be informed of all procedures performed on cadaveric specimens.
  • All surgical incisions must be appropriately closed at the end of the training session.
  • Orsi Academy reserves the right to charge additional fees if required documentation is incomplete or if post-training specimen preparation requirements have not been met.

     

Compliance

Participation in activities at Orsi Academy requires compliance with these Participant Guidelines.

Orsi Academy reserves the right to suspend participation or remove individuals from the premises if these guidelines are not respected.
