General info

A 2-day advanced masterclass focused on robotic-assisted pancreaticoduodenectomy (Whipple procedure). The course combines expert-led theoretical sessions with extensive hands-on training on synthetic and human cadaver models, emphasizing both resection and reconstruction techniques.

Exclusive benefit for THPBSA members

Members of the Turkish Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Association (THPBSA) benefit a 10% discount on the course using the code THPBSA10. THPBSA membership is required!

What you will learn

  • To comprehensively cover advanced robot technique in Whipple procedure
  • Have a clear insight on the robotic set-up
  • Having a clear view on the necessary robotic instruments focusing on the resection and reconstruction phase
  • A full anatomical review of the pancreas landscape to enhance the dissection/transection phase within pancreaticoduodenectomy
  • A step by step guidance on the refinement of the reconstruction phase

Prerequisites

  • Basic knowledge of the robotic system and familiarity with liver and pancreas surgery and have at least 15-20 cases in robotic assisted liver resections
