General info
Orsi Academy offers a Basic Course in Robotic Liver Resection for surgeons at the start of their robotic HPB journey who want a solid foundation in robot-assisted hepatectomy. The program provides a comprehensive overview of the procedure, a structured set-up for liver resection, and a step-by-step approach to parenchymal transection using the robotic platform.
This 2-day course consists of:
- One day of hands-on training on the da Vinci system at Orsi Academy training labs on live animal tissue (porcine model).
- One day of live case observation with key steps and practical tips by Dr. Mathieu D'Hondt
Exclusive benefit for ILLS members
Members of the International Laparoscopic Liver Society (ILLS) receive a 10% discount on the course fee using the code ILLS2026. A valid ILLS membership ID is required.
Exclusive benefit for THPBSA members
Members of the Turkish Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Association (THPBSA) benefit a 10% discount on the course using the code THPBSA10. THPBSA membership is required!
Exclusive benefit for E-AHPBA members
Members of the European-African Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (E-AHPBA) receive a 10% discount on the course fee using the code EAHPBA10. A valid E-AHPBA membership ID is required.
