From distance to direction: building consensus for safe and scalable tele-enabled surgical care

OCERT, the Orsi Consensus meeting on European Robotic Training, was originally rooted in robotic training. Today, it continues to bring together leading scientific societies, healthcare professionals, policymakers, educators, technology experts and industry partners. This year, OCERT places a dedicated focus on European Robotic tele-intervention, exploring how tele-enabled care can be implemented safely, effectively and sustainably across healthcare systems.
Led by Orsi Academy, OCERT is a unique international, multidisciplinary platform focused on knowledge exchange, consensus building and innovation. Through expert discussions, workshops and collaborative working sessions, participants will address key challenges in tele-intervention, explore implementation strategies and contribute to the development of future guidelines that support safe and sustainable adoption across healthcare systems.
