Piet De Windt
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Piet De Windt is the Chief Executive Officer of Mantyx, a daughter company of Orsi Innotech focused on developing AI-powered surgical co-pilot solutions. At Mantyx, he is responsible for strategic direction, business development, and day-to-day operational leadership - driving the company's mission to improve surgical precision and patient outcomes through applied artificial intelligence.
Piet holds a Master's degree in Commercial Sciences and a specialization in International and European Law, giving him a solid grounding in both business strategy and the regulatory frameworks that shape the medical device industry.
He brings over 25 years of experience in technology, data, and analytics, with a strong track record in building and scaling Service and SaaS companies. He co-founded and led The Agile Information Factory group (Tripwire Solutions, DataSense, Sparkle and VaultSpeed), achieving more then 15 million EUR in annual services revenue. As CEO/Co-Founder of VaultSpeed, he grew the company into a recognized name in data warehouse automation. Earlier in his career, he held sales and business unit leadership roles at Cegeka, and worked at companies including Alcatel, Telindus, and Speedport, where he built deep expertise in enterprise software and international business development.
Outside of work, Piet has a passion for cooking, fine dining, and international travel. He maintains a keen interest in technology policy and healthcare innovation in Europe and beyond.
