Emma Vanbeylen

Emma is a veterinarian responsible for the anesthesia and welfare of laboratory animals, mainly pigs used in surgical training and research. She graduated in Veterinary Medicine from Ghent University in 2023 and continued working at the university for two years, where she taught veterinary students, contributed to research projects, and performed veterinary procedures while overseeing animal welfare in experimental pig models.

At Orsi, Emma manages anesthesia during surgical and robotic training procedures, supports the preparation of training sessions, and provides training to physicians and surgical specialists in robotic surgery. With her combined background in veterinary medicine, research, and education, she contributes to creating a high-quality and ethically responsible training environment.
