Train the Trainer Course

Objectives

  • You will learn to standardize robotic surgical training
  • You will get an overview of the different training models and how to use them.
  • You will get an overview of the requested technical & non-technical skills and how to proctor these skills.
  • You will learn the basic skills tasks on the Orsi simulation models and how to assess them.
  • You will learn video assessment using the metrics.
  • You will learn to score a live operative performance with the metrics.

The Train the Trainer Course consist of two parts of on site training at Orsi Academy.

Part 1: Foundation of Learning & Assessment (e-learning + 2 days on site training)

  • Pre-course study and e-learning modules
  • Basic Skills and Training Models (1 day)
  • Instruction for Use (IFU) and non-technical skills (1 day)

Part 2: Procedure specific RARP metrics and assessment

  • E-learning modules
  • Procedure specific assessment training (2 days)
