General info
Robotic Single Port Transoral Surgery Course is a 2-day advanced course focused on procedural skills and workflow optimization in Single Port Transoral Robotic Surgery. The program combines live case observation, expert lectures, case discussions, and intensive hands-on human cadaver training to enhance technical proficiency in Single Port TORS procedures.
What you will learn
- Understand differences between single-port and multi-port robotic systems
- Optimize patient selection, positioning, and access strategies
- Perform key Single Port TORS steps (exposure, resection, reconstruction) on cadaver models
- Manage intraoperative challenges (instrument crowding, visualization, ergonomics)
- Improve console efficiency and team coordination
Prerequisites
- Fellowship-trained or senior attending Head & Neck surgeons
- Prior experience in robotic surgery
- Surgeons transitioning from multi-port to Single Port platforms
